Tasting notes:

A classic expression of the Azorean blend. Sourced from traditional vineyards with naturally low yields, these two native varieties come together to create a wine with an exotic character – where the Atlantic’s influence and the volcanic basalt soils merge in perfect harmony. The nose is mineral and vibrant, with citrus and subtle tropical notes. On the palate, it’s fine, deep, and elegant, marked by freshness and a long, graceful finish.

Vinification:

After harvest, the grapes were cooled in a cold chamber to minimize oxidation and preserve their aromatic integrity. The must was clarified by static decantation at low temperature, and fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at 15ºC for 15 days. The wine then rested sur lie for 4 months, followed by 8 months of aging in stainless steel before bottling, ensuring texture, complexity, and purity of flavor.
